Do I need an agent to go pro?
Players don’t need agents to go pro, but having one can make the process much easier and more effective. Agents help players get noticed by clubs, negotiate contracts, and handle the complex logistics of playing professionally. While some players go pro through direct club connections or youth academies, an agent can open more doors and protect a player’s interests throughout their career.
It's important to remember that just as players don't need agents to play professionally, having an agent does not guarantee that you will be offered a professional contract.
